[ – Club Air Italy was a Low-cost carrier from Milan that was formed Oct2002 by tour operator Valsole Viaggi e Turismo, Milan and Italian/Romanian entrepreneur Bruno Tercatin, in association with Tarom. Started operations on 24-Nov-2002. Ceased operations on 12Dec2006 when AOC was withdrawn. Restarted with new owners (Umberto Fassi, real estate magnate) and new management (Gaetano Intrieri) using 2 40-seat RJ’s, on 08-Jun-2007. AOC suspended again 23-May-2008 by Italian CAA and operated last service on 28-May-2008. Purchased by Gruppo Soglia and restarted again as Italiatour Airlines. Italiatour Airlines received its own AOC on 03Sep2009, starting operations late 03Sep2009. Suspended operations on 21Sep2009, AOC was withdrawn on 30Nov2009 ]
