On 23Sep2021, the S7 Group announced the name of its low-cost airline – Citrus. The carrier received an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) on 07Feb2022. Ticket sales for flights of the new low-cost airline was supposed to begin in the spring of 2022, and the start of flights was scheduled for Jul2022. The start date is now compromised by the Russian invasion of Ukraine
