CAT Air Lines was founded by Theodore Hull, an L.A. banker to connect Mexico City to El Paso in 1929. Flew a variety of aircraft and several barnstorming pilots (including Wiley Post and Lowell Yerex). Hull was killed in an air crash in 1931 and operations were suspended in 1932
