Carpatair was formed in 1999 and operations started on 15/Feb/1999 as Veg Air. Renamed in Dec1999 when new owners took over. Carpatair Flight Service (2014-2015) merged into Carpatair. The carrier had filed for Insolvency on 23Jan2014 and as of May2014, Carpatair dissolved most of their former route network and it no longer operates in Romania or Moldova
