On 09Sep1927 the British Guiana Air Transport Company was formed. Its objective was to secure government’s assistance to provide charter flights to the interior. The investment was in vain, as poor public response resulted in the premature closure of the company. On 03Mar1928 The Fairey Nicholl was dismantled and shipped to the United Kingdom
