BIAS International was formed on 01Jul1959 by Charles van Antwerpen and George Richardson as BIAS (Belgium International Air Services). It commenced operations on 07Jul1959 with a single Douglas Skymaster. The carrier was renamed to BIAS International in Summer 1972. In the spring of 1973, the company ceded its two remaining Douglas DC-8s to DAT and ceased operations. After the cessation of flight operations, BIAS International remained as a leasing company. Between 1974 and 1976 the company operated under the name BIAS Overseas
