Envoy air logo usa♦ BEX (Business Express) started as charter airline called Atlantic Air in 1982. Scheduled services were added in 1985 and name changed. Acquired New London-based Pilgrim Airlines (1986) and Albany-based Mall Airways (1989). It was forced into bankruptcy by SAAB because of unpaid bills. The final merger of operations between Business Express and American Eagle was completed on 02Dec2000 ♦
