Avior Airlines was formed on 03Sep1994 by Jorge Luis Añez Dager and Rafael Ciarcia Walo. Operations started on 30Jun1995 as Aviones de Oriente providing service to the Petroleum Industry and tourism in the eastern provinces. It was renamed in 1997 to Avior Express after it changed its business model to a Commercial carrier. Renamed again 2003 to Avior Airlines
