ADVANCE AIRLINES acquired SKYWAY AIRLINES. Based at Sydney’s Mascot Airport and operated scheduled commuter services.[ADVANCE AIRLINES was taken over by Aviation Developments and renamed to AVDEV AIRLINES in 1980. Then taken over by Davey Air Services and the DAVEY added. The company was sold in 1984 and the routes split between East Coast and Norfolk Island Airlines
