Ava Transportation (Kingston Norman Manley) was the provisional name of a new Jamaican start-up that intended to boost connectivity between Jamaica, the Caribbean and the Americas. The airline’s holding company, Ava Transportation (Jamaica) Limited, was officially registered earlier this year and is being certified by Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority (JCAA), a process it hopes to complete in the next three months. The carrier did not start operations
