Arizona Airways (ii) was formed in 1991 and commenced services in Jun1992 International, regional and domestic scheduled commuter airline based in Tucson. In Aug1995, a deal with Great Lakes became official and the carrier was rebranded as Arizona Airways Express. The carrier was then merged into Great Lakes Airlines (ii) on 15Jan1996

[ – Great Lakes Airlines (ii) was established by Doug Voss and Ivan Simpson and began operations on 05Apr1977 as Spirit Lake Airways. Reorganised in 1979 as Great Lakes Airlines. Began scheduled services on 12Oc1981. In Feb1988, Great Lakes acquired Alliance Airlines, adding six cities around Lake Michigan to the route network. In late 1995 Great Lakes Arizona Airways Express merge in, obtaining routes from a hub at Tucson International Airport to Phoenix and Page, Arizona, as well as to Albuquerque, NM, and to several points in northern Mexico. Great Lakes Airlines announced it suspended all operations as of 26Mar2018
