♦ Turkish Airlines established Anadolujet on 23Apr2008 as a new subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, for lo-cost services. It was rebranded from Turkish Express prior to it starting operations. On 04Sep2008, the airline started international flights connecting Hatay and Ercan International Airport. n Feb2023, Turkish Airlines confirmed plans to spin-off AnadoluJet from an incorporated brand name into an independent airline with the name AJet Hava Taşımacılığı Anonim Şirketi (English: AJet Air Transportation Joint Stock Company). Turkish Airlines secured an air operator’s certificate (AOC) for its low-cost carrier Anadolu Jet for when it began operations as standalone unit under the AJet brand on 31Mar2024
