♦ ALI ( Flotte Riunite) was founded in 1926 as ALI (Avio Linee Italiane), which ceased operations at the outbreak of WWII. Restarted in 1947, absorbed AIRONE, SISA (Società Italiana Servizi Aerei) and TRANSADRIATICA. The latter 2 having the same names as earlier Italian airlines. ALI ceased operations in 1952 and it’s assets and most routes were taken over by LAI – Linee Aeree Italiane] ♦
