Air Taxis was formed by P. H. Moody as a small charter company at Rockhampton in early Jul1938. Using small de Havilland aircraft, the carrier began Rockhampton to Mount Coolon service on 07Jul1938. Unable to find sufficient traffic or revenue, Moody was forced to cease operations on 10Nov1939
