Air Chang’an was founded on 11Apr1992 & started operations on 01Jun1993 as Dapeng Airlines. Renamed to Air Changan Airlines & then Grand China Air whihch was formed on 29Nov2007 under the initiative of the HNA group’s largest operational entity

On 29Nov2007, it merged with China Xinhua Airlines and Chang’an Airlines to form Grand China Air. After receiving its air operator’s certificate in Apr2016.
