Air Burkina

♦ Air Burkina was established under the name Air Volta on 17Mar1967. Operations started 30Jun1967. Renamed in 1985 when country changed name. National airline of Burkino Faso that commenced international flights in late 2004. The carrier suspended operations in Apr2024 but is in the process of a procuring a new aircraft. The airline has added an E190 and appears to have restarted operations #ch-aviation reporting Air Burkina grounded as it fails to secure ACMI capacity. After nearly two weeks of suspension, Air Burkina has resumed flights
