The new Estonian airline Ago was founded at the behest of the Estonian government on 21Feb1939. It was to be 50% financed by state capital and 50% by private owners. The first traffic flights of the Ago were delayed due to the outbreak of the so-called Winter War (USSR / Finland). Ago’s first international flight took place on 27Mar1940 from Tallinn to Stockholm. The airline like all major Estonian companies, was nationalised by the Soviet authorities. In Jun1941, both aircraft were brought to the interior of the Soviet Union and handed over to the airline Aeroflot
