Afrijet Business Service was founded in 2004. as a joint venture between the Tomi Family and Ali Bongo Ondimba, then Minister of Defense of Gabon and son of the President (President himself since 2009). CEO: Jean-Baptiste Tomi. The company started operations in early 2005 with two Falcon 50. Its core business is the transport of Gabonese government officials, but it also offers charter services to other countries governments and private individuals (it basically took over the business of SN2AG, see below). Later on, a Falcon 20 was purchased but it was soon retired. In 2007, Afrijet purchased a Falcon 900B, and a second one in late 2008. In 2010, the CEO changed to Marc Gaffajoli. In 2012, Afrijet won the Shell Gabon contract, which involves carrying Shell personnel around various airports in Gabon. It took an ATR to fulfill that contract.
