Aerolineas Argentinas was formed on 14/May/1949 by the unification of Zonda, Aeroposta Argentina SA, ALFA (Avacion del Litoral Fluvial Argentino) and FAMA (Flota Aerea Mercante Argentina) which connected the Argentine Republic from the early 1930s. Commenced operations on 07Dec1950. Regular services of Aerolineas Argentinas between Buenos Aires and Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia), with stops in Cordoba and Salta, was inaugurated on 27Jan1953. On 30Nov2020, flight AU2763 from Posadas arrived at Ezeiza International Airport, officially marking the end of Austral Lineas Aereas operations as an air carrier as it merged into Aerolineas Argentinas
