[ – Royal West Airlines (ii) was originally founded as AeroWest with plans to start a low fare hub-and-spoke operation from Colorado Springs in 1982. The airline purchased the assets of defunct Royal West Airlines (i) which used Douglas DC-3s on Grand Canyon charter flights
< Certified air carrier operating Las Vegas-Grand Canyon & Burbank. Scheduled service ended on 27Feb1987; however, the airline continued to operate charters and sub-services through the beginning of 1988 >]
