Aegean Airlines was renamed from Aegean Cronus Airlines after the full integration of the two airlines. ACA was the name given to the merged Aegean Airlines and Cronus Airlines in 2001. After an agreement in Mar2001 to merge Aegean and Cronus Airlines, the company operated for a while as Aegean Cronus Airlines until full integration in 2002
